        "text": "Okonkwo spent the winter putting a proofing press back together, and printed these while she was learning what it would and would not do. Every block was pulled separately and the register left deliberately out, so no two colours share an edge."

        "text": "Walk around it. The column is cut so that no two faces meet where you expect them to — the same refusal as the prints, made in something you cannot flatten."

          "text": "The red block sits a little under two millimetres left of where it should. Look along the top edge: the printed colours meet the paper at slightly different points, so no two blocks ever share a line. The artist proofed each block separately and refused to correct the drift."

          "text": "Nothing is printed here at all. In a three-colour print the untouched sheet is the fourth colour, and it is doing as much work as the ink around it."

Okonkwo built it from the same press-register logic as the Block Studies: nothing is curved, and the curve is unavoidable.",
