A strictly two-tone poster figure on bone paper: one connected ink mass whose outline is not drawn but solved for. Discs, hard-cornered squares, triangles and round-capped capsules are posed on a seeded armature into a signed-distance field, fused by a smooth minimum so junctions fillet like poured metal where the blend is open and keep their hard corners where it is closed, then bitten into by subtracted circles that leave clean crescent scoops in the outline and clean round holes in the interior. The zero-contour of that field is traced by marching squares and filled even-odd as a single silhouette with no keyline anywhere. Behind the head a fan of straight hairline rays radiates from a point and is painted first, so the mass occludes their inner ends and every ray stops dead on the silhouette. Inside the ink, clipped hard to it, a sparse instrument diagram is engraved in the paper colour: open rings, solid dots, spoked asterisks, node-and-rod linkages with round joins, two-stroke arrows, short sine squiggles, nested chevrons, closed stadium tracks and long shallow sweeps — placed by rejection sampling so they never crowd, and cut off mid-stroke wherever they reach the edge. Two colours and no third: every light mark is the paper showing through. No outline, no gradient, no shading, no texture, no face.
