A dense disc of white patch cables packed edge to edge on black. Every cable is a constant-width round-section cord routed from one port on the rim to another by a turn-limited walk that steers against a shared occupancy grid — so cables keep an even gutter and never fuse — and against a slow flow field, so neighbours often run near-parallel for a stretch. A minority of cables are routed instead in crisp right-angle jogs with rounded elbows, as if cleated down. Every cable is painted casing-then-body — a wider stroke in the ground colour laid immediately under its own coloured body — cable by cable in routing order, so every crossing carries a hard keyline of bare ground and the mass of cord stays legible instead of fusing into a white blob. Both ends of every cable terminate at the rim in a drawn jack plug — a boot, a fat barrel, two banded rings and a domed tip — collinear with the cable at the joint and pointing outward along its own port axis, so the whole disc bristles with a spiked corona of connectors. The disc can pack as a plain even ball, hollow out into a ring around an open core, squash into a lens, or wobble into an amoeba, and a share of cables can be tinted from the palette in spatial clusters rather than staying strictly monochrome.
