A dense dahlia-like bloom of layered, hand-cut feather plumes radiating from the canvas centre. Concentric rings of lanceolate petals nestle into one another and twist into a pinwheel core, drawn outermost-first so shorter inner plumes overlap like paper cut-outs. Each petal takes a colour from the palette and is overlaid with a clipped white gelli-print motif — a feather rib with barbs, bold paint splatter, or fine speckle — evoking a botanical cyanotype collage on soft ivory paper.
