Fringe Rug
Lumen & Logic
A rectangular woven "rug" floats in a wide paper margin: a grid of square-ish tiles, each flooded edge-to-edge with mitre-sharp concentric bands — nested diamonds, elongated lozenge eyes, chevrons, L-bends and stair-step zigzag meanders — their colours cycling through a vivid felt-tip spectrum punctuated by black and white snap bands. Some tiles merge into larger 2×1, 1×2 or 2×2 statement motifs; a few drop to rhythmic two-tone bars. The signature move: where the bands meet the panel edge they never stop — every band escapes as a loose thread, gently curling outward to a staggered random length, so all four sides fray into the fringe of an unravelling textile, each thread continuing the colour of the band it frays from. Nine params (seed, columns, rows, band width, big tiles, zigzag mix, fringe length, fringe curl, paper margin) with a new shared Fringe Rug palette.
