Digital impasto painting generated from domain-warped fractional Brownian motion. A double-warp fBm produces the sweeping, curved brushstroke shapes. Surface normals computed from the height field drive Blinn-Phong shading — ambient, key, and fill lights give ridges bright highlights and deep crevice shadows. A decoupled colour-noise layer picks palette hues independently of height, creating chromatic layering where warm tones peek through cool ones. A soft radial glow composites over the base to simulate a central light source.
