Ink Quilt
Lumen & Logic
A notebook page quilted with a gently warped patchwork grid drawn in two fineliner inks — indigo-navy and teal — on cream paper. Undulating row bands of varied heights are each cut into rounded-corner cells of wildly different widths, separated by thin cream gutters, and every cell is outlined in one ink and filled by hand: wall-to-wall parallel hatching, hatching that fades around a blank cream core, stipple shading dense at the border and melting away toward the centre, a sheaf of long crossing leaf outlines, or a sparse resting scatter of dots. A single smooth warp field bends borders and fills together, so the whole lattice sways like it was ruled freehand over flowing guide lines.
