A crisp disc of stippled cream dots on a dark ground. Dots sit on concentric ring arcs about the centre with equal radial and arc spacing, so faint radial spokes read near the middle and phantom secondary circles emerge further out. Each dot is sized by an interference field — the summed concentric cosine waves of several sources (one central, the rest on a symmetric ring) — so bright and dark bands curve around every source and weave a moiré across the disc.
