Newton Fractal
Lumen & Logic
Applies Newton's root-finding method to f(z) = z^n − 1 across the complex plane. Each pixel is coloured by which root the iteration converges to; brightness encodes convergence speed. The intricate filigree on root boundaries is a fractal of infinite complexity — no matter how far you zoom in, the same tendrils reappear.
