An Op Art checkerboard of wide tiles refracted through a circular lens. Inside the lens the vertical coordinate is collapsed so the horizontal tile edges dissolve, leaving column edges as vertical stripes that a sinusoidal shear bows into a refracted wave; the warp fades to zero at the rim, where the plain checkerboard returns. Each colour channel is sampled at a slightly different offset, splitting the stripe edges into chromatic-aberration fringes.
