Op Portal
Lumen & Logic
A bottomless doorway of nested flat colour bands cut into a full-bleed field of hairline stripes, opening onto a one-point-perspective room. Above the horizon the back wall carries a flat Op-Art pattern — a curtain of vertical bars, a stack of horizontal bands, a bullseye of concentric rings around the vanishing point, or a coarse checkerboard; below it the floor recedes as a fan of wedges radiating from that same point, a perspective checkerboard, or foreshortened transverse rungs. The frame bands run straight off the bottom edge so the portal stands on its floor, and an optional far doorway — a smaller band frame with its own lit opening — sits on the horizon at the end of the room. Flat fills only: hard edges, no gradients, no outlines, exact mirror symmetry unless the vanishing point is pushed off centre.
