A rigid square lattice of pin-lights on near-black, where every cell's mark is sized by a domain-warped interference field whose wavelength sits close to the lattice pitch — so the screen beats against the field and the structure surfaces as broken arcs and phantom diagonals rather than clean rings. A lobed envelope defines a luminous body, but its rim does not fade: past the boundary each cell survives on an independent random threshold, so the body keeps a crisp edge and then comes apart into isolated, full-strength sparks scattered on the same grid out to the frame's corners. The mark itself is a knob — dot, ring, square, diamond, cross or a bar laid along the field gradient — and the brightest pins carry an optional halo that reads them as light rather than as ink.
