A symbolic mixed-media scene: a dark plum figure seen from behind, arms flung up in a wide V, erupting from rooted earth into a radiating impasto sunburst. A golden halo crowns the tilted head while chunky ray-wedges — orange, gold, cream, vermilion and teal — fan across the upper canvas. Down the right a cascade of S-curved ribbon bands (magenta, pink, gold, olive, turquoise) sweeps past a teal patch stencilled with gold clockwork gears. The lower third is a patchwork of dark green, navy and olive fields scored with sgraffito cross-hatch and split by gold seams, from which recursive gilded root systems spread downward. Gold-leaf foil flakes are scattered throughout, and the whole panel sits inside a rough painted border on raw cream canvas.
