Subtle Body
Lumen & Logic
An esoteric anatomical plate on midnight ground: a bilaterally symmetric standing figure with no outline anywhere — its silhouette is implied by hundreds of hairline filaments fanning from a neck node out over the shoulders to skeletal hands and down the legs into a splay of root fibres. The body itself is a matrix of flat beads whose radii are modulated by a smooth field and whose colour steps in tiers with size, from vermilion through amber and ivory to a dim steel; a rosette of concentric bead rings around a vermilion disc sits at the chest, cradled by a cobalt horseshoe, and a beaded axis of stations runs the full height. Where a head would be, a filigree specimen crown — a barbed myriapod, a fern frond, fanned wings or a dotted corona. Around it the plate is dressed in gold hairline: a border, full-width register rules with tick marks and a scatter of small technical margin figures (sunbursts, constellations, spiral fields, star polygons, moiré lenses, perspective grids, triangular lattices). Flat discs and hairlines only — no gradients, no outlines, exact mirror symmetry at zero jitter.
