A serene front-facing portrait whose hair erupts into a vortex of swirling paint. The porcelain blue-white face is tilted back with the chin lifted, the eyes closed under arched brows and violet eyeshadow with flicking lashes, the nose hinted by soft shadow and the full lips a deep parted rose. From a scalp ring the hair explodes into a landscape-wide halo of hundreds of curling, tapered ribbon strokes — a dark near-black and maroon understructure, saturated crimson, orange, gold, magenta, cobalt, teal and violet ribbons clustered into local hue groups, and bright accent tints with highlight veins, many swelling into flung droplet heads. Splatter blobs with satellite droplets ring the perimeter, thin whipping filaments arc across and beyond the mass, drips run off the hair, chin and dissolving blue-white chest, and fine spray dots settle over a soft mottled off-white ground.
