Yarn Coil
Lumen & Logic
A Huichol-style yarn painting: the plane is partitioned into irregular polygon cells whose density rises toward the edges, so a few large facets fan out from the centre while a dense frame of small cells rings the border. Each cell is packed with concentric offset outlines of its own shape — the pressed-yarn coil — spiralling inward to a single eye. Coils are one saturated hue per cell (pink, cobalt, navy, peach, orange, violet) with occasional cream or neighbour-hue strands, and the black ground shows through every gap as an outline.
